Scheduling an appointment to have a rear tire replaced is the only way to go. I dropped off my bike, was offered a bottle of water, which I happily accepted, and settled in to wait the hour it was going to take. I had pleasant conversation with a sales associate while I admired the latest models, I had a quiet place to sit and read bike mags, and before I knew it, my bike was ready to roll.

Darcy Verwers was very informative, knowledgeable, patient and friendly with us while going through the process of choosing the right bike. He was very helpful with sharing his own experiences as well as providing information about more rider training.

All the people were great, very friendly. A bit disappointed in a few areas on the new bike. Seat and suspension very uncomfortable and drivetrain has some slap and jerks when accelerating and decelerating. Hopefully will clear up after break in.

Just had the 1 K service done. The bike road a little different than my last bike. During the service they discovered the rear wheel was out of aligment. Bike rides great now. Very pleased with the service people. Matt explained every thing and was very up front with the service. Thank you.

Love the new store. Now the experience walking into the new store is like when I walk into a store in another state. What I mean by that is, the store is BIG and spread wide out. GREAT selection on accessories, merchandise. (WAY better than the store located just 3 miles from my house). I will always drive the extra 15 minutes to go Coralville than drive 4 minutes to go to the local store. Everyone there at Hawkeye is always ready to help me in anything/everything. Knowledgeable parts staff. All in all, Kickass store! oh, by the way. The only thing I don't like is the selection on gloves. not very many to choose from. Other than that, GREAT store.

I am very satisfied with the bike I bought. Michael in financing was very helpful on explaining the loan. I was a little upset to find out dealer did not provide the 1k. I have purchased 5 new bikes from other dealers and they all included the 1k in on the deal. Did not even have to ask for it. I had a few other issues but Jeremy has been very good at helping resolve them. Overall experience I have to say I have not been happy with. I am keeping an open mind though as I know dealership is new and growing.

Took my 2014 Street Glide Special in for it's 5000 mile service. My first time in the new building. Congratulations on a magnificient facility. Service Department looks amaizing.

It was the 4th of July weekend and I had a lot of things planned to do on my bike. It didn't start out good as I found I had a nail in a brand new back tire. I came to bike night and talked to the service department to see if they could squeeze me in, which they said they could. I was relieved to hear this because if they hadn't went the extra mile to get me in their schedule, my whole 4th of July would have been shot. I came in the next day, they got the tire installed, and I was on my way to a happy 4th! Thanks guys!

I cannot think of one bad thing to say about Magrath Hawkeye Harley Davidson . When I walk in it doesn't matter if it's a salesman a lady in motor close the men in service or parts they all greet me by first name and always do their best to take care of me they are great people and I feel very comfortable calling them my Harley dealer. I couldn't ask for anything more at this time .

Out for a ride yesterday and stopped in at MHHD to make an appointment for a new rear tire. They got right on it. I had a few minutes to visit with the staff. Friendly and respectful people. The new tire sure makes that Road Glide nibble. Very good millage on the tire they took off, 18,585 miles. Tire pressure is key!

I am from Sioux Falls S.D. and was rolling through town to meet up with six other riders to begin a ten day journey on Saturday Aug. 23rd. I was having problems with a clutch adjustment and made a call to your shop to see if there was a mechanic on duty and if there was a possibility of getting me in and on down the road. I spoke with Chris in the service dept. over the phone and he was very polite and let me know he could fit me in. When I arrived he was very kind and let the mechanic know that my adjustment was an easy fix and worked me in right away. The problem was solved very quickly and to top it all off there was no charge for the quick service to adjust the clutch. I have been in the sales and customer service industry my entire life and it is so wonderful to see that there are still people out there that represent their business they work for with such dignity and respect in the way they treat a customer. I want to give a huge thank you for all you did for me and my entire group! So nice to see Hawkeye represent Harley Davidson with such high standards!

"My husband & I purchased our Road King Classic from Dean in Sept 2009. Since then, we have traveled to Harley Davidson dealerships from CA to NY, MN to FL. Every store has the same brick & mortar, same basic setup, same motor clothes, same wall of accessories; but you only come across amazing staff at 1 of 10 of those stores (if even that). I am thankful that Hawkeye is my home HD store! There are 2 other HD stores within a 45 minute drive from my house, but we do all of our business at Hawkeye. Jodie is hands down one of the (if not THE) most knowledged parts girl in the state. Gerri can answer my husband's most off the wall question about our bike in a flash. Mandy knows her stuff as far as motorclothes go, she can set you up for whatever riding conditions you may be looking to get thru. Dean knew exactly what bike would be the best fit for us. "We were driving through from Sturgis, SD on our way back to Illinois from a seven day ride. We had just left our hotel in Newton, IA and the battery light and altenator lights kept coming on and going off. We seen this dealership from the interstate and decided to pull in to see if they could take a look at our bike and tell us what was wrong with it. They explained to us they were extremely busy but, would make time for us since we were on our way home from Sturgis. It is a good thing we stopped. Once we turned it off it wouldn't start again. I have been riding motorcycles for 42 years and this is only my second Harley, and my 12th and last motorcycle. I was not even in the market for a different bike when I stopped at Hawkeye just to look at motorcycles on my way home from hunting in January. When I walked up to the Screamin' Eagle it was love at first sight. "I was 35 miles east of Coralville on I-80 and had a rear tire blowout on my '08 FLTCH at 4:45 in the afternoon...enjoyin' a 110 degree heat index temperature day. Not fun. I bought my first HD from this dealership and it was a great experiance. I am currently serving in Iraq and my bike needed servicing.
